Aligarh Municipal Corporation collaborated with Begum Azizun Nisa Hall, and Aligarh Muslim University organized a seminar on "How to make your city better for living"
Report by : Duaa Hashmi On Thursday, November 17, the Municipal Corporation organized a seminar at Begum Ajizunnisha Hall of Aligarh Muslim University. Through the seminar, the students were told how they can contribute to the betterment of their city. The seminar was organized on the guidelines of Municipal Commissioner Shri Amit Aseri and District Magistrate Indra Vikram Singh. The program started at 4:30 pm in the common room of Begum Ajijunnisha Hall. First the PRO, Smart City, Omair Iftikhar made a presentation to give information about the Ease of Living Index and Citizen Perception Survey being conducted by the government. Through his presentation, Umair Iftikhar told how the Municipal Corporation is working to improve the lives of the residents of the city through various schemes like health ATMs, smart roads, beautification of parks.
