Smart City Aligarh and TPO, AMU organized felicitation ceremony

On Thursday, August 11, a felicitation ceremony was organized on behalf of Aligarh Smart City and TPO AMU in the Commissioner's Auditorium.

This felicitation ceremony was organized to commemorate the golden opportunity of internship to the students of the city by Smart City Aligarh. It is worth mentioning that, on behalf of Smart City Aligarh, the students of the city were given an opportunity to do internship under the Tulip program to introduce them to the working style of Smart City and to provide new skills and experiences.

In the beginning of the program, PRO of Aligarh Smart City, Omair Iftikhar told how the students of the city under the Tulip Internship Program being run by the Ministry of Urban and Housing selected for internship and how they are helping in the functioning of smart city. Thereafter, TPO AMU Mr. Saad Hameed urged the students to make full use of the golden opportunity to do internship with Smart City Aligarh as this experience is going to be very useful for them in the coming future. 

Finally, Smart City CEO, Mr. Gaurang Rathi delivered the keynote address of the programme, the students were apprised about the different valuable experiences that internships provide. Along with this, he also encouraged the students to make full use of the resources being provided by Aligarh Smart City. At the conclusion of the program, vote of thanks was given by Smart City Aligarh intern Alvina Rais Khan.

During the program, Mr. Gaurang Rathi, CEO, Smart City Aligarh, Mr. Saad Hameed, Training and Placement Officer, AMU, Dr. Asad Ullah, Coordinator, IQAC, Mr. Salim Hejazi, General Manager, Smart City, and internship students were present during the programme.
