A Quiz competition organised by Smart City on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti

On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti on Sunday, 2nd October, Aligarh Smart City organized a general knowledge competition for the school children of the city. During the competition, questions related to the inspirational life of Gandhiji were asked to the students. Students of classes 1 to 7 participated in the junior section of the competition, while students from classes 8 to 12 participated in the senior category.

About 80 students from more than 10 schools of the city participated in the competition. In the junior category, the team of Abuzar Zakir, Imad ul Haq, Ariz Zaman Khan, Asad Khan secured the first position. Ariz, Fabeha, Sania secured first position in senior category.

Before the general knowledge competition organized on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, the participating students were also taken a tour of the Integrated Control and Command Center developed under Aligarh Smart City. Along with the students, their parents were also apprised of the functioning of the Integrated Control and Command Center and were shown how public facilities are being provided in Aligarh through the latest technology. 

Aligarh Smart City CEO and Municipal Commissioner IAS Shri Amit Aseri honored the winners by giving them prizes. During the prize distribution ceremony, the CEO Smart City discussed the concept of Smart City with the students and motivated the students to contribute to the Smart City and become a Smart City.
