Aligarh Municipal Corporation collaborated with Begum Azizun Nisa Hall, and Aligarh Muslim University organized a seminar on "How to make your city better for living"

The program started at 4:30 pm in the common room of Begum Ajijunnisha Hall. First the PRO, Smart City, Omair Iftikhar made a presentation to give information about the Ease of Living Index and Citizen Perception Survey being conducted by the government. Through his presentation, Umair Iftikhar told how the Municipal Corporation is working to improve the lives of the residents of the city through various schemes like health ATMs, smart roads, beautification of parks.
As the main speaker of the program, Assistant Municipal Commissioner Sushri Pooja Srivastava was also present in the seminar. Assistant Municipal Commissioner Ms. Pooja Srivastava explained to the girl students how the Municipal Corporation is working on projects like smart classes for the facilities of the students and solid waste management for cleanliness. Not only this, keeping in view the safety of the women of the city, cameras have been installed for surveillance in the city and emergency call boxes have been installed at various places for emergency situations.
In his address, the Assistant Municipal Commissioner also discussed the topic of health and made the girl students aware of dengue. The Assistant Municipal Commissioner expressed concern over the rising cases of dengue in Aligarh Muslim University and suggested preventive measures against dengue.
During the seminar, Assistant Municipal Commissioner Ms. Pooja Srivastava also informed the girl students about the cleanliness survey of the Central Government and during the break, she told how the Municipal Corporation is taking initiative to make the city clean.
The girl students present during the program asked their questions to the Assistant Municipal Commissioner and also gave their suggestions to improve the functioning of the Municipal Corporation.
During the question-answer session, the girl students presented questions and suggestions related to mental health, cleanliness and women's hygiene, which were satisfactorily answered by the Assistant Municipal Commissioner.
