On the occasion of Children's Day, Municipal Corporation taught the lesson of cleanliness to the girl students

On the occasion of Children's Day on Monday, 14th November, Municipal Corporation organized a program at Chirangilal Girls Inter College. Organized under the aegis of the cleanliness and public awareness campaign being run by the Municipal Corporation, this program started around 11:30 in the morning.
In the beginning of the programme, girl students of Naurangilal Girls Inter College chanted the slogan of cleanliness loudly and took oath to make India clean by singing songs. The program was coordinated by Mrs. Madhu Varshney, Principal of Chiranji Lal Girls Inter College.
The program was organized on the guidelines of Municipal Commissioner Mr. Amit Aseri.
During the conduct of the program, Ms. Pooja Srivastava made the girl students aware about cleanliness and gave information about the functioning of the Municipal Corporation and explained to them how the Municipal Corporation is working to improve the lives of the residents of the city.
During the programme, the girl students were also introduced to various offices related to cleanliness and health. First of all, the cleanliness and food inspector Mr. Ramjilal conducted a workshop to increase awareness about dengue, in which he explained dengue and ways to prevent it through video.
After this, a workshop on Ease of Living Index was also organized and the girl students were made aware about it.
During the workshop, girl students were encouraged to use the waste creatively. To give more information in this regard, a message was narrated by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in which he told about the best use of waste being done in the cities of Meerut and Bengaluru.

At the end of the program, Assistant Municipal Commissioner Smt. Pooja Srivastava while interacting with the girl students answered some questions and distributed gifts to the girl students who answered correctly.
Chiranjilal Girls Inter College Principal Mrs Madhu Varshney, Vice Principal Mrs Anil Kumari, all school staff, Municipal Corporation Swachhata Team and Aligarh Smart City PRO Umair Iftikhar and team of interns were present during the programme.
