Smart City Aligarh's initiative to revive the city's water bodies seems to be paying off. On Friday, June 10, the Urban Development and Energy Minister of Uttar Pradesh Government Anil Kumar Sharma visited Aligarh city. During this, he also examined the flagship project Aligarh Habitat Center of Smart City Aligarh. It is being told that the Urban Development Minister was better impressed by the Amrit Sarovar being developed by the Smart City near the Habitat Center. It is worth noting that Smart City Aligarh is trying to give a new life to the water bodies of Aligarh city through its different projects. In this series, Amrit Sarovar with a capacity of 2.56 crore liters spread over 6347 square meters is being developed near Aligarh Habitat Center. A reservoir existed earlier at the place of Amrit Sarovar but its capacity was only 1.92 crore liters. Like Amrit Sarovar, Aligarh Smart City is also constructing a lake in Achal Tal which has been named as Achal Sarovar. The Achal Sarovar is spread over an area of 16000 meters square and will have a capacity to store 75 million liters of water. Smart City Aligarh is trying to give a new life to the city's water bodies through its various projects, so that the depleting water level of the city can be improved and in the coming times, the city dwellers can get drinking water. Do not face difficulties.
