The youth of the city will learn coding for free.

Aligarh Smart City, Code Yogi, NGO, and the Training and Placement Office of AMU have joined hands to teach coding free of cost to the youth of Aligarh city. Free coding education is being made available, especially for students from financially backward classes.
Code Yogi and Aligarh Smart City jointly organized a webinar on Saturday 16 July at 3 pm in which a plan to teach coding to students from backward classes was discussed. Prashant Choudhary, Founder, and CEO, of Code Yogi, explained to the students present during the webinar how they can learn to code for free and get good jobs with the help of Code Yogi. Referring to his old students, Prashant Choudhary said that many students who earlier used to work in welding and plumbing have got jobs worth lakhs of rupees with the help of Code Yogi. Prashant Chaudhary also discussed how coding is going to prove to be a very important skill in the coming times. 


Smart City Aligarh CEO, Gaurang Rathi was also present during the webinar. CEO, Gaurang Rathi assured that Smart City Aligarh will do everything possible to empower the poor students through coding. If a student does not have a computer to learn to code, they will arrange it in the Habitat Center built by Smart City. Dr. Mussavir was present on behalf of the AMU Training and Placement Office in the webinar. It is worth mentioning that every student of the backward class who has passed the 10th or 12th class examination is eligible to learn coding for free under Code Yogi. At the same time, students who are studying in college and are not financially strong can also take advantage of this scheme.
