Aligarh Smart City Celebrated the 7th Anniversary of Smart City Mission by organising a Doublothon with Hindustan Media.

On Wednesday, 29 June, a doublethon was organized at the Athletics Ground of Aligarh Muslim University, under which cycling and running competitions were organized. The program was organized in association with Hindustan Newspaper and Aligarh Smart City. Ralco Tires and Ozone City also played a supporting role in organizing the event. The doublethon program began at 5 am at the AMU Athletic Ground where the contestants first performed a Zumba dance to the tune of Bollywood songs. Under the doublethan programme, the cycling and walking competitions were divided into two halves according to age group. 


The first age group included children below 14 years of age, while the second age group included participants above 14 years of age. The winners of all the competitions were awarded with trophies and certificates at the end of the programme.
 

During the event, RAF Commandant Ajay Sharma Aligarh administered the oath of cleanliness to the participants. During the program, General Manager of Aligarh Smart City, Mr. Mohammad Saleem, Secretary, AMU Games Committee, Professor Mr. Amjad Ali Rizvi, General Manager of Ozone City Mr. Shailendra Kumar, Anil Sharma on behalf of Ralco Tires were present.
